What is the suitable System configuration for high end graphics game?

Guys I need your suggestions in upgrading my system, I have a computer which not quite good for high end graphics game so I want to upgrade my system to a gaming PC and for that my budget is about 450-500$. My system configuration is Azus M2N CM DVI (PCIE-16x only), 4GB DDR2 RAM 1066MHz, NVIDIA Geforce 9400GT, AMD 5200+Processor (2.7GHz, L2 Cache 2MB), SATA HDD 400GB, I ball 400w PSU. I want to play games like GTA liberty city , Metro 2033 and Bullest storm etc. Please suggest me some food stuffs in my budget.

Well I have GeForce GTX560 1GB DDR5 it works with Azus M2N and I am able to play al most all the games which I want to. Some other things you can do is upgrade your PSU to 700w from 400w. and if you want to install many games in your system I will recommend you upgrade your RAM by 2 GB more so that games won’t affect the your system performance. I guess this will be quite enough for those games, because I play similar kind of high end graphics games.

Nice thread many games freak look for similar kind of post and here I can suggest you some good technical stuff and I guess you will get it under your budget may be under 450$. Buy CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V v2.2 SLI which you will get for around 110$. And I will suggest you the same graphics card which have been recommended by above user you will get for 249$ I guess. And 4GB of Ram and total cost will be under 450$ I am sure about that.

Mate I can suggest you some more suitable hardware according to your need, Can you tell us on what resolutions you play games. You need to upgrade your memory by adding 2GB more if you wish to use some faster graphics cards like GTX 560 Ti, And since it’s a single card configuration you don’t need 700w, 400w which you have in your system is quite enough for that but still if you want to then upgrade to 500wAntec Earthwatts. This will be more balanced system configuration for your system.

I think AMD 5200+Processor (2.7GHz, L2 Cache 2MB) is gonna cause some problem for your gaming configuration. I have one combination of parts for you, under the budget of 500$,.here it is, ASRock N68C-S UCC AM3/AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a Micro ATX AMD Motherboard, you will get it for around 40-45$. MSI 785GTM-E45 AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard this is for only 70$. You must take this AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz it’s around 100$. And G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 for 55-60$ and last thing WINTEC AMPO 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 for 33$.

That’s so nice of you nice, Thanks a lot. Highly appreciate it. I had a doubt on PCIex16, it has half the bandwidths i.e 4GB/s compared to PCIe2.0 x16’s 8GB/s, and I am going for GTX 560 Ti graphic card which have 128GB/s memory bandwidth, so I thought PCIex16 will slow down the graphic card but somebody solved this problem on same forums site he told me that PCIx16 is compatible with it. And I am also upgrading to 550w. And I am staying with 4GB only. Thanks guys for helping me out.
