What is benefit from 6GB to 12GB DDR3 1600 for 2560x1600?

I just upgraded to a 30 "monitor and wonder if there is any benefit to ask for another 6GB OCZ Platinum DDR3 1600, this would bring the entirety 12 GB system. I really only use this platform for games. I heard there is little benefit to the use of more than 6 GB, but with this increase in resolution makes knowledge still apply? I really don’t know much about this that’s why I want to know something from your side. So please post your suggestion.

If you put out of action the page file you will mainly likely be better off among 12 GB. Truthfully if you have nothing else that requirements to get upgraded I would say go for it just because you can, loading times may be quicker and overall presentation maybe a petite bit, but it is not the most necessary upgrade. Display resolution is additional connected to the quantity of GDDR ram on your GPU. For more resolution gaming superior GDDR ram is superior. But I have a 30" and the reply is no. I observe memory use among my G15 and all through gaming I not at all go above 50-60% with 6 gigs. 6 GB is bounty for currently through the time you require more there’s no telling how despicable ddr3 prices will be. Completely no benefit to 12GB if the entire you do is internet and gaming. I just did that promote (6GB to 12GB). By means of 6GB, I have immobilized the page file and run Window XP mode in Win7 definitive in a virtual machine and have not at all used 4GB of memory let alone 6GB. I would save your cash as 12GB is not worth it, at present anyway. You have not given a paradigm of when. I as a minimum talk about a real world example from my own knowledge of why I am think it is not. For gaming, there is no requiring for more than 6GB.

This is bragging rights though. Do not use the extra RAM unless the software you need or more tasks greatly. I very multitasked with six concerts, with the backing of a Blu-ray Internet, in essence, playing music in media player and play STALKER CP did not even go over 65% usage. How the hell can you tell me you need 12 gigs? What are you doing that have need of so much ram? I hope this information will help you.
