As far as I know that the Firmware upgrade version 140.32 is currently available only for the 5000, 6000, and 7000 series models. However the 8000 and 9000 series model will get this firmware will be started as soon as possible. The Philips had already announced that they had released this firmware for “Audio drop or Audio Cut off “issue in their several series of Digital TVs. So if you have newer model then this Firmware may take some time to catch up.

For now I don’t have any information regarding this new firmware version for 900 series models. In some sites I have seen the download link regarding the Firmware 140.32 but there they didn’t provide any information concerning for which models or series this update is compatible. When I contact the Philips support team they have told me that the new firmware might take some more time to release. However the terrible thing is sound or audio drop solution is only available in that firmware.

Most of the 46PFL9705H series TVs from Philips got several issues regarding the sound or Audio Drop. The company has told that the issue lies in the TV’s Firmware or software. For that they promised that they will soon going to release a new patch which will have the solution for this problem. So far only 2 series of models got this new update and others are still waiting to release. I hope that they will free this soon enough.
