Intel Q930 with Radeon 6970 vs Intel Core i7 with Radeon 5870 1GB

I am satisfied with my card but my friend forces me to upgrade my video card. So I am thinking about to change my video card but I do not know much more about that that why I am little confused in between two and that is q9300/6970 and i7/1GB 5870. If you have any suggestion and you are using any of card which is working better then please provide the better solution for my problem but my basic question is Which would perform superior for gaming? q9300/6970 OR i7/1gb 5870,

I am not too confident about it and I am not sure it will work for you or not because personally I am not use it but when I read your problem on this forum then I discoursed with me friend jemms who is also used q9300/6900. And he told me almost certainly the q9300 / 6970 for most games. As per his recommendation I would like to suggest you that if you are really thinking about up gradation then go with q9300/6900.

The only motive I said almost certainly q9300 + 6970' is because most games are going to run more rapidly among an improved graphics card. There are too a small number of hard CPU bottlenecks on a Q9300 right now (note: a fresh card gives so small development that an improved cpu would give extra). Also, you did not still say what you previously own, at what time you plan on upgrading (obviously not at the present since the 6900's are not out) etc, Because if you are bearing in mind getting an i7 it would also mean a motherboard + ram upgrade.

I would like to tell q9300/2GB vs. 5870 i7/1GB 5870 among the 6900's not out up till now. Yes I have a q9300 at the present, and if I go i7 I would require a different motherboard so at that point I would almost certainly just construct a fresh rig and put up for sale this one. No hurry to purchase the card just trying to figure what trail would give me the best bang for the money. Absolutely going to wait turn over the 6900's come out previous to I purchase anything.

As per my experience I would like to say wait until the 6xxx series before making any kind of decision. Having a additional powerful card will perceptibly be superior for eyefinity. Also, you may wish for a superior quantity of memory or that advanced res also. So if you wait then it is much better for you after launching any new series you can take any better decision. And that is better for you. I hope you will wait and hopefully this information will help you.
