I am thinking of upgrading my system

I have a 4yr old PC ..Config is P4 HT and some old board

I want to switch from Intel to AMD . Thinking of buying 780G Board with a Phenom 2 X4 Processor .

I want an ATI/AMD Graphics card for this with a price range of 5 to 7k .

Should I downgrade my processor and get a better graphics card .. will it help me play bigger games ??

If you are planning to upgrade to your system then first decide for what purpose you are upgrading. If you are planing for business then there is no use of Graphic Card and If you planning for Gaming PC then you must require the Graphic Card. Downgrading processor is not advisable as this should be enough to handle the process of your system. You can also go with the Cheapest Graphic Card.
