    enable a 120Hz VSync

    With my 120hz LCD monitors, if I assign VSync on, it restricts the displays to 60Hz. I am in a bit of dilemma , how is it actually , please let me know that has anyone got any sort of idea regarding VSync'ing? Does anybody know how to allow a 120Hz VSync and not the default 60Hz?I either have to run my 120Hz LCD's at 60 FPS which sort of defeats the idea or I have to let the FPS shoot up and let the graphics cards run at 100% at all times and misuse energy. That is for games that I cannot assign a FPS cap (which there are a plenty ).

    I've yet to make use of a 120Hz LCD but I've considered problems such as this may crop up.Only a supposition, but switch off off vsync in the game choice, use video card control panel to assign t vsync. Do you have this problem with all games? I have enforced triple buffering and VSync in nVidia control panel, yet I still obtain simply 60FPS with a 120Hz LCD. This is playing a game in that when VSync is off, I get 200+ FPS so I am not acquiring the halved- decrease to 60 FPS.

    Enforcing triple buffering in the Nvidia control panel only functions for OpenGL games, and does not function for DirectX games. You can only compel triple buffering for DirectX games with RivaTuner, EVGA accuracy or MSI Afterburner.A few games may have interior FPS limiters. What games specially are you seeing this in? never mind, if you're clever enough to run them at 200+ without Vsync then that's not it.

This results in precisely half the framerate of the refresh rate when your FPS falls under the refresh rate." The resolution is to facilitate (or force) triple buffering.
