You have to look at the ASUS VG236HE monitor in addition to check for a discolored dot or two. This is known as dead pixel(s). you have to Turn off the ASUS VG236HE monitor as well as quietly massage the dot(s) through pushing into the screen gently with your finger as well as removing it. Then Turn on the ASUS VG236HE monitor again to observe if the discoloring is gone. Then click softly against the discoloring/dead pixels at the time the screen is on to observe if the discoloring/dead pixels are gone.

You can watch the screen to observe if it goes blank the moment the PC launches the operating system. The monitor's resolution is set too low or too high at the time in the operating system. Start up the PC in Enable VGA Mode through clicking the F8 key previous to the operating system loads. Once the PC loads right-press on the desktop as well as go to Properties plus left-press. Display Properties will load. Press on the Settings tab on the far right of the menu as well as after that alter the toggle bar in the bottom left of that menu. Press OK double to believe the settings. Then start the PC again in the fresh resolution that the toggle bar was set to. Watch your screen to confirm it does not go blank again.

You have to verify the screen to observe if it is blank regardless of which video plug is pushed into the video card. Shut down the PC. Ground yourself through touching the chassis to discharge any static you might be moving. This stops you from harmful the components with static discharge. Open the PC chassis. Unscrew the anchor screw on the video card, switch it out with the functioning video card as well as attempt the monitor again. You have to Install the correct drivers for the functioning video card as well as watch your screen to confirm it does not go blank.

From my opinion verify the monitor to observe if it turns on in any way. You have to Replace the monitor's power adapter with a functioning power adapter as well as check the monitor. Test the functioning adapter in another outlet if the monitor still will not switch on. You have to put back the whole monitor if neither the power adapter nor power outlet is out of order.

You can do 1 more things ensure the text on the screen to observe if the text is very tiny while the picture shows well. Right-press on the desktop as well as go to Properties as well as left-press. The Display Properties menu will come out. Press on the Settings tab on the far right of the menu as well as after that regulate the toggle bar in the bottom left of that menu for the desirable resolution. After that press OK plus recognize the settings again by pressing OK. You have to restart the PC, if essential. Make sure the text as well as picture on the screen. If the text plus picture are pixilated, the resolution setting for the LCD is too large.
