Lines on monitor screen while gaming with Geforce GTS 450

While playing I am getting some serious problems:



Many times there are so much that i cannot play.
Computer specifications:
Core2quad Q6600@2.40Ghz
Gefore GTS450
2Gb Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
Drivers:266.58(Tried Installing Older drivers also)

Please Help.

What is the name of the game that you are playing? Are you getting similar kind of problem while playing all games or just the game that you have mentioned here. Which brand is your monitor and how old is it? Have you tried to play the same game on different monitor to check whether it is a monitor problem or the graphics card problem? Have you tried applying some game pacthes, incase if it exist, so that the problem gets over?

Its Napoleon Total war.All games are showing problems.Monitor is of samsung.

It seems to have the issue with the Graphic Card which might be not working properly and that is why you are getting the issue with the same. I will first advise you to download and install the latest driver for the computer of yours. To download the latest driver you have to go to the manufacturer site and download the same. So if you can then go through the same and see whether this is working for you or not.

I am having the latest drivers. I also tried to downgrade my drivers but it did not help.

You didnt said whether gaming with Geforce GTS 450 on other monitors gives you the same problem or not. I would say better update the bios of your motherboard? How much ram do you have btw and what are your full computer specifications? Trying lowering the OC for both GPU and video memory just to see if it gets rid of the problem.

Gaming with Geforce GTS 450 on other monitors gives me the same problem.
I have latest bios.
I have 2 gb ram.
Tried lowering the OC for both GPU and video memory it did not help
