Comparison between 6870 and GTX460 regarding price and performance

I was previous going for HD5850 Vapor-x but I meet with the conclusion that HD6870 to be low-priced and supporting superior tessellation, DirectX 11. So I searched further and find finest VFM card close to HD6870. So I come to the conclusion to go through GTX 460 OC versions. I found that GTX 460 is cheaper excluding it chomp through more power and support DirectX 10 for this I am not sure. So I require idea from Forum people on the subject of these cards. Please help me

The HD 6870 is usually 15-20 percentages are quicker than a reserve clocked over GTX 460. Once you over clock a GTX 460 it not compulsory as it is very rare among the cards whose presentation modify considerably through clock speed. It is more or a smaller amount equivalent to the presentation of a HD 6870. And on the other hand you can over clock a HD6870 as well to get at least the equal presentation like a HD 5870. And the deference comes in only pricing.

From my point of view both the card you are asking are more or less similar to each other. I am using t EVGA that cannot be in reality over clocked any longer so it's useless actually but it is a great card whatever type of motherboard are you using on the CPU and what games? Since if your motherboard simply wires SLI and not crossfire id declares get the super clocked External Exhausted card.

I will wait till the individual developers of 6870 construct a 6850 with an extra composite HSF. I don't feel like to buy a video card by means of the intent of buying a after market heat go down. It will be not the natter of being just cost effective. But if you buy a 6850, the over clock must be done with no electrical energy, or extremely low power. So please wait for some more time you will have more reviews.
