GTX 580 as dedicated PHYSX with 9800gtx+

I just encompassed giant upgrade from 9800gtx+ to GTX 580. So far the performance bound is astonishing. But 9800gtx+ is motionlessly a superior card and I did not require going to misuse and why not utilize it as devoted PHYSX. The problem begins at this point. In the PHYSX tab in the NV control panel, the 9800gtx+ is not even perceived. I am estimating novel 262.99 drivers are just for the 500 series. Did any of you fruitfully be familiar with any card as PHYSX that is under 500 series with novel 262.99 drivers? Anyone have any idea about how to? Or will older driver work on 500 series? Here I must suggest you or must tell you that be patient and make sure the Nvidia driver download page daily. Very presently there will be a driver that maintains both the GTX580 and 9800GTX+. If you cannot wait, then third parties websites like have modded drivers. So you can just try from that also. But here I am must say that wait for the best driver.

I ran into a comparable trouble last to last night while I setup my 580 and required to make use of my 280 for PHYSX. My 580 showed up as my display device but the 280 was not to be established. Verify your device manager and seem for unidentified display devices. I attempted the each probable technique to create 9800gtx+ to work on 262.99 drivers, but cannot perform it. I have checked Nvidia driver site, 262.99 just supports 500 sequence and non others. And 9800gtx+ can be familiar with only up to 260.99 and as well works with 580 as well even though it does not contain 500 series scheduled. So my options are moreover to trench 9800 and go with 262.99, or contain both cards working with 260.99. I selected to stay with 260.99 drivers and contain both card carrying out to boost up my PHYSX performance. I am hoping upcoming version would maintain both cards and possibly advance performance even additional on 580. I hope this is helpful to anybody who is annoying to build up same setup.
