Hello, I am annoying to put back my accessible my on board graphics card, my device is a gateway gt5668e desktop and my graphics card is an nvidia geforce 6150se nforce 430. For disabling your onboard card you have to follow the points given below:
  1. First you have to start your system into the safe mode which can be done by pressing F8
  2. After this go to my computer option and then right click on the option and then go to the properties.
  3. Now choose the Hardware tab and then click on Device Manager.
  4. As you have entered into the device manager just click on the '+' by the picture of a monitor this will take you to the graphic device.
  5. Now right click on the tool for your onboard graphics. Put out of action it apart from uninstalling.
  6. After doing this restart you system and now remove the cover and install the new card into the empty slot.
  7. Plug your display wire into the fresh card and when you register on it should dash on low declaration awaiting the driver is installed.

As per my experience I think you will get the solution by disabling the graphic card from the BIOS. Which you can do by going to the advanced settings, or going to the similar section. Also I am trying to change it from the windows I know it is little bit strange to me but while doing this it has done all things automatically I mean booted and set up all the drivers.

I think you can do the desired things which you need to do is by using these steps given below:
  • First of all you need to go to the start option and then go to the control panel.
  • After entering into the control panel goes to the system in that you will get hardware and device manager.
  • In the above option you will get the video card name below the display adapter.
  • In this select the video card and then click on the small computer with the purple x which help you to uninstall the video card from the computer
