Monitor fails to wake up when coming back from sleep mode in Windows 7

I just upgraded my system to Windows 7. For that, I had to install a new graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce). I set the system to sleep mode however after some time while I move the mouse in addition to wake the computer back up, the PC itself appears to react, but the monitor never comes back from sleep .I have tried it 3 to 4 time but nothing happens .so give me some suggestion to get out from this.

I would recommend you to enable Display Adapter to wake the PC after sleep.

For that you have to Follow the steps below:
1. Press Start after that you have to type Device manager in the Start search box plus press Enter.
2. Choose keyboard, which will show your keyboard then right press and choose Properties.
3. Choose the Power management tab.
4. Verify the Allow this device to wake the computer check box.
5. Do again these steps for Mouse and Network adapters also.

Hey from my opinion first of all verify event viewer to observe if there is any errors as well as warnings associated to your issue. Along with that as well open device manager in addition to from keyboard properties ensure that it is set to wake computer from sleep. To solve this problem it might need to be made several changes in BIOS power management options. May this will help you to solve your problem.

Hey even I have the similar trouble, but I guess that it is hardware-related problem since it occurs on both my windows Vista and Windows 7 operating system. I now disconnected the lid open/closed sensor in addition to shut the computer down when I am not using it. If you are using Windows although, Windows Update is supposed to have all the latest drivers, even ones like touchpad and video card.

To wake a sleeping computer at the moment you have to briefly click the hardware power button. Hybrid Sleep is a deeper sleep as well as does not wake with only a lid opening or a key click. In windows Vista, the default manners for the Start Menu Off button is Sleep, not shutdown. Adjust it in Power Settings.
