However at a few point something which was immense has left anxious. I can utilize both the monitors while functioning on it though just the time it is locked it blacks out the subsequent monitor background and screensavers situate if any. I attempted looking for any configuration alters but in ineffective. So anyone have any idea about this how can I solve this issue. Please provide some help.

Re: Second monitor gets black in locked mode

Two Questions:
  1. What kind of Display settings have you place it to?
  2. Is it a comprehensive Display or Duplicate Display setting?
If it is a comprehensive Display, the Display will not be comprehensive if the main display is not active.
Expand your displays: This spreads your desktop in excess of both monitors and lets you drag items between the two screens. This is how the majority people make use of two monitors, and it is the default setting. If you have put the second monitor to copy the display, after that it will duplicate the setting even if you encompass locked the computer.
Duplicate your displays: This displays the similar desktop on both monitors. For a laptop, this is the default setting. This is functional if you are giving an appearance with your laptop associated to a projector or huge monitor.

Re: Second monitor gets black in locked mode

I have setup of two monitors with setting "Expand your displays"; the point is to create the majority of these two monitors. The performance as you said is standard however the similar was working superior with Windows XP.
  • In XP: Later than locking the screen or at the Logon Screen both the monitors’ exhibit was there with the wallpapers on. Even I had alternative of keeping difference wallpapers on both screens.
  • In Win7: Later than locking the screen or at the logon screen the subsequent monitor is still active and ON. The cursor association is there however only alter is it is all blacked out. No wallpaper observed.
Cannot this be distorted by any registry settings or third party tools if not inherent with windows 7.

As you say, that function has not at all been constructed into any version of Windows. Even though there are many third party products that will achieve what you are looking for. Please make use of your preferred search engine to place these third party products. Hope this information may helps you to solve your problem.

I don't think you be aware of what he is inquiring for. If you do, then you are wrong. It was absolutely constructed into XP. If you place your group policy settings properly, you can observe your wallpaper while you lock the PC. It demonstrates on both monitors and needs no plug-ins or third party software. This does not denote it explains on the logon screen, only the lock screen. They distorted it in Vista and Windows 7 so that this is not probable any longer. You had to contain the welcome screen and quick user switching off. Domain surroundings were for all time setup like that, so I got used to it being that method where I work.

Re: Second monitor gets black in locked mode

I have searched broadly for a method to modify the second screen from black to incredible else and have not establish anything so far, third party or otherwise. If anybody has establish a method though, I would adore to be acquainted with how. I have originated a lot of ways to modify the most important screen logon or lock screen background, but not the black second screen. With the bereavement of GINA and rise of credUI, there is no technique to go back to old classic logon or lock screen and dig up away from the novel welcome screen style. That as well means no domain drop down catalog moreover.
