2407WFP won't go into power save mode

My 2407WFP unable go into power save mode, even while the computer is shut down. While the computer is on sleep mode, is powered off, or while the cable is unplugged, the monitor will full screen flash Red, Green, Blue, Black, White, after that go to sleep mode for about some seconds. It afterward replicates this progression in its place of just going to sleep or standby. Dissimilar computers, dissimilar cables, no modification is it possible it is in a few sort of self test mode?

If you have VESA's DPMS fulfillment display card or software installed in your computer, the monitor can automatically decrease its power expenditure while not in exercise. This is referred to as Power Save Mode. If movement from keyboard, mouse or additional input devices is noticed by the computer, the monitor will automatically wake up. The below table illustrates the power consumption and indication of this automatic power saving feature:

This monitor is energy star acquiescent in addition to TCO '99 or TCO '03 power management well-matched. Zero power expenditure in off mode can just be accomplishing by disconnecting the major cable from the monitor.

    While linking my Xbox 360 or the Phillips DVD750VR DVD player to the 2407WFP constituent reasons a black screen on power save mode. I just troubleshoot it to confirm that the Xbox 360 and the Phillips DVD750VR DVD player had performance part outs; I attempted them both. They both worked. FYI - Xbox 360 to W5001C module. I can access 480p and 1080i. I did two things that transported the 2407WFP component reverse into performance form for the Xbox 360 and the Phillips DVD750VR DVD player;
    1. Disconnected the W2407 power cable for some minute, and afterward reconnected.
    2. Connected my Motorola set top box and it worked on the 2407WFP module.

Did the power cord disconnect or reconnect revolve the 2407WFP part reverse on?

I am having a same problem with my 2407 setup. On the primary day I had the monitor, I plugged in my technical Atlanta Explorer 3250HD cable box via element, and it worked all right. From the time when then, I get a message proverb there is no element signal, and it goes into power save. At whatever time I go to that input. DVI still works enormous to my PC. Composite and svideo from the wire box work great while I endeavor those but no component. I attempted unplugging the 2407's power, but to no benefit. I don't have an additional component tool useful to endeavor plugging in.

I really don’t have any knowledge for your issue. Even I also have some issue and therefore I am here. I just observe the title and all comment as well but none of them are useful for me. And therefore I just post my question here. I have the 2407 and a v7200 video card. My problem is I can simply use VGA if I switch to DVI-I and modify the resolution to 1920x1200, it only provides me a black screen. I have not at all been able to enter Windows with the DVI-I output utilized. I forever have to make use of the adapter. Please give me a few lend a hand.

You cannot have both the DVI and the VGA associated at the equal time while annoying to make use of the component.
    1. Power off the 2407WFP
    2. Disconnect every cabling from the underneath of the 2407WFP
    3. Clutch down the 2407WFP power button for 20 seconds
    4. Reconnect simply the VGA cable or the DVI cable
    5. Reconnect the 2407WFP power cord
    6. Start the 2407WFP
    7. You should at the present be on the windows desktop by means of either VGA or DVI
    8. Reconnect your tool to the 2407WFP element
    9. Power on that tool
    10. Push the contribution button and switch to #5 element

I must say that this must the solution for your query.
