ATI Radeon HD 5570 with GDDR5

I using the Windows XP operating system on my Dell desktop system which has a graphic support of ATI Radeon HD 5570 but now I came to know that this card have came up along with the GDDR5 then it has became worth to know more about it. Re: ATI Radeon HD 5570 with GDDR5

If the Radeon HD 5670 as we have tested (with GDDR5) is not uninteresting, it remains a "two", down to a chipset integrated graphics if you do not play or rising to a 99 euro graphic card such as HD 4850, HD 5750 which propose higher level of performance and necessary for modern displays. What is 5570? 5670 with a reduced frequencies and especially the GDDR3 memory instead of GDDR5. Result, memory bandwidth is more than halved and performance in real situations will be drastically lower. In the small set of tariff segments, the 5570 is placed which comes in front of the GT 220 from Nvidia.

Re: ATI Radeon HD 5570 with GDDR5

The performance gap between the low-end Radeon HD 5450 and the gamer-friendly Radeon HD 5570 is hard to miss. This also confirms a look at the specifications. The Radeon HD 5450, AMD has about 80 stream cores, while the Radeon HD 5570 is equipped with 400th. Although the area between the Radeon HD 5450 and the 5570 interim by older models like the Radeon HD 4650 was filled urged, finally, with the AMD Radeon HD 5550 into the gap. Here, the Radeon HD 5570 not only with DDR2 and DDR3, but also as a GDDR5 version is available.

The use of DDR3 conditioned instead of GDDR5 memory, so ATI tries to save costs in general. Also it is clearly visible on the reference layout in low profile format, what a card of this performance class is rather unusual. Although the reference cooler was continuous from the present tests the Radeon HD 5570 to be bad, because assessed relatively too loud and will therefore certainly be replaced on the maps of each graphics card manufacturer with a better model - this is likely, however, in most cases still based on the reference card in low profile format pass.

Re: ATI Radeon HD 5570 with GDDR5

The Radeon HD 5570 can score so clear in case of power consumption and design, the 3D performance is pretty average sized. This can already foresee the raw data, where it has finally given to the RV730 chip which is the Radeon HD 4650/4670 with the jump from 320 to 400 shader units, no significant development. The advantage of the Radeon HD 5670 to the faster GDDR5 memory is the Radeon HD 5570 because of the waiver of this type of memory is no longer available as well, so that the regression between RV730 and RV830 chip in the number of texture units from 32 to only 20 piece then becomes important after all.

Re: ATI Radeon HD 5570 with GDDR5

It manages the Radeon HD 5570 not (as yet the Radeon HD 5670), clearly break away from the Radeon HD 4670 but the performance of both the cards are about the same. On the other hand, the Radeon HD 5570 for not designed for the new entry-level gamers solution which is actually to inherit it in the first place with the Radeon HD 4650, which now holds that position in ATI's portfolio. And against this Radeon HD 4650, the Radeon HD 5570 points really first class: According to the few existing measurements, 77-91 percent gain in performance between the Radeon HD 5570 and Radeon HD 4650 DDR2 has been noticed which might have been caused primarily by the very low memory frequency of DDR2- version of the Radeon HD 4650, but the faster GDDR3 version is no longer available now.

Re: ATI Radeon HD 5570 with GDDR5

ATI has almost everything right with the Radeon HD 5570 and probably designed this card for those people that you can now with good conscience as a Gamer at an entry-level solution. Nvidia's answer to this, in spite of new cards in the form of GeForce GT 220 & 240, unfortunately, only half-baked - the GeForce GTX 220 is too slow and the GeForce GT 240 is for the performance are still too expensive, while the Radeon HD 5570, both from the performance and its price is are not exactly meet this point but an entry-level gamers solution must be a land here.
