Where can I get GeForce 8800 GT 1 Gb version

I am currently using the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT on my windows xp system and I am looking forward to rebuild it. Actually I am thinking about the 1 Gb version of the same which would be performing great I guess. I was specially searching for a EVGA or Gigabyte version but didn't found it. Can anybody tell me how 1Gb version of GeForce 8800 GT is and where can i find it?

Even I am interested in the GeForce 8800 GT which now also offer 1GB of GDDR3 memory. Everything will be cooled by a solution developed by Zalman VF-inspired 1000. I just know that this card will not be based on the reference design from NVIDIA. The NX8800GT-PTD1GE will be clocked at frequencies of 600/900 MHz.

Asus plans to release a GeForce 8800 GT equipped with a total of 1 GB of 900 MHz GDDR. The GPU, surmounted by a large copper heatsink, however, will be clocked at its rated frequency is 600 MHz for core and 1500 MHz for the stream processors. It is unclear whether having 1 GB of memory on this graphics card is actually beneficial or whether the gains will be sporadic. Anyway, the GeForce 8800 GT has a raw power very close to that of the GeForce 8800 GTX, which tends to confirm that such a capability is useful (unlike a GeForce 8500 with 1GB).

With two generations of graphics cards and acclaimed performance, NVIDIA's going one step forward by proposing a new series that looks like a technological marvel: the GeForce 8800. More than just a trend, these processors were designed to renew your gaming experience and graphics by leveraging an innovative architecture and technology never seen before. With a price / performance ratio and incredible compatibility and DirectX 10 PCI-Express 2.0, the GeForce 8800 GT should emerge as a new standard among gamers.

The GeForce 8800 GT is based on 112 shaders (computational units) running at 1.5 GHz can process transactions in geometry, graphics, physics or texture. The use of shaders is not fixed in advance but depends on the demands of the game. GigaThread technology to support independent operations simultaneously to optimize the use of the GPU. Full compliance with the shader model 4.0 enables realism even further and worthy of cinematic effects in the phases of play.

The growing need for video memory video games ever greedy and still more detailed textures, it had to happen one day or another. The 8800GT is the first true graphic cards for gamers to include 1024 MB for a single GPU, unlike the 7950GX2 which was 512 MB per GPU. Some manufacturers have therefore made this choice, and that's the case Vvikoo which offers 1 Gb now since an 8800GT under the name "8800GT 1GB MAX. It is equipped with not less than 1024 MB of GDDR3 as its name suggests, a PCB re-cut and a feed stage fortified, and a completely revamped cooling system. On paper, the 8800GT MAX seems very interesting!

1 GB of memory is it not an exaggeration for most commonly used resolutions like 1280 x 1680 x 1024 or 1050? Remember, the G92, which equips the 8800GT and GTS, is not intended for high-end cards and its claims are so modest. Do you think that 1 GB on such a map is really useful? Even the 8800GT 1GB MAX should be a little below the 512 MB version in terms of overclocking the memory because of the doubling of chips and slight relaxation memory timings.
