Specifications of AMD Radeon 6000 series

I am currently using the nVidia 260 (192) from the last tow year and now i want upgrade the same wiyth any other one. I am facing lot of problems in using that card while gaming. The resolutions were not up to the standards. And i was also not able to view some of the high quality video. And now i am searching for the best video card and one of my friend suggested me the AMD Radeon 6000 video card. I just wanted to know will this card will satisfy all my requirements. Please let me know the specification of this card that will help me to know it better. Please help me to solve the problem.

First of all thank you for considering my problem and also for spending your vital time to give the proper solution. All the things that are mentioned in the posts don't really attracts me towards this cards. And also i have changed my mind to take any new card with the highest video resolution. Price is not an issue in my case, just let me know which is the best card in video resolution. Also i am a game addict and i need a card that will supports all kind of games. Please help me in solving the problem.
