Directx 9.0 issue

Hi,
i download latest version of directx 9.0c(june 2010).and also successfully install.but when i see my graphical properties it show only 9.0 not 9.0c.hence some game wont start on it .as 9.0 support pixal shader 2.0 and 9.0c support 3.0.hence how can i upgrade it . Please help me.my internal graphic card intel gma 3100 also support 9.0c. Then why? Please answer me.

Are you running with the latest graphic driver for you graphic card? If not then first install the latest graphic card into the system of yours and later on install the DirectX 9c once again. Now see whether you are getting this work with the issue of yours or not. I hope this will work for you.
