GTX 460 - Severe performance problems

I have serious performance issues with my GTX 460. The background: Had a 8800 GTS has given up the ghost. Then I bought 5770 which also causes problems (in particular for Source Engine games) and has, for example, wiggled the first 10 seconds after the game in BFBC2 extreme than they would not come. Meanwhile, I got myself a Point of View GTX 768 MB purchased 460th Has the reference cooler, runs quietly. I have the included drivers and the latest (258.96) tries to pretty much the same outcome, Between ~ 40 - 15 FPS (visible on the ground and wide view with lots of action) in Battlefield Bad Company 2 (with and without AA, little better when I'm on medium / low down go). And (this really brings me up the wall) FPS drops in Team Fortress 2! Moderate 45 FPS when little is going on and drops down to 15-20 FPS when what is going on ... and without AA. That can not vote in anything? Someone over there has used this? Are you having same problem or it is screwing me only. I am sure that some members will contribute soon.

Yeah... even I think the same. Also BFBC2 game again tested. Whether or HIGH to LOW, the difference is hardly noticeable. Somehow it seems to me as he would stutter. There are hardly noticeable FPS boosts ... 1 / 10 second to 60 frames per second, then drop back to 15, 20 FPS ... performance at BFBC2 was before the "Clean" and now, after blowing the same renewal installation. Here are the latest test results of it to the GTX 460 shown in following figure :

Resolution on which I play / work / make all things: 1680 * 1050 (via DVI). After a cursory view of the motherboard I could find no damage, but again I'll be looking at more closely. Can lie on the PSU? Actually, it should provide enough juice ... and this would ever speak in low power? I am slow at the end of my wit. The 8800 GTS was better than the GTX 460 now. There must have something.

Re: GTX 460 - Severe performance problems

Seasonic is one of the PSU producers which market their own goods. They are both ODM and OEM, like Delta Electronics, Fortron Source, and Team Seven Enhance Electronics. This is in contrast to many PSUs that are branded by the company that markets the product, and often has petite to do with either intend or the manufacturing. Seasonic is therefore one of the longest-lived PSU makers. Their first PSUs were made for Apple way back in the '70s. As be appropriate to a manufacturer, Seasonic adds slight in the way of ostentatious features in their products. Practically all the features are imperceptible from the outside, especially to the untrained. We have always held in high regard Seasonic products for their power delivery, efficiency and low noise; let's see if the S12-430 can meet our high expectations.

Prime95 and Vantage were now side by side (the case law does not stop the OS a process) which went without problems. Unfortunately, only stock cooler. According to another page (link, unfortunately, just messy) they have tested the 460 GTX have clocked it down gradually to a i7. Even with E8XXX tested with the result that the CPU provides the first from high resolutions noticeable performance. For 1680 x 1050 should easily reach my CPU to throttle without. Everything comes from the points out quite well, I lie with a 275GTX and a Q9550 3.4GHz @ something about it, the 275GTX is also something more than a 460GTX.
