Speakers and dual monitors

Hey I just recently setup dual monitors on my computer. I like to stream movies and TV through the second monitor but I have to change the default sound setting everytime I move something over to the second monitor, and switch it back when i'm using the original. I'm just wondering if there was a way to set it up so that when something is playing on the second monitor the sound automatically comes through those speakers. I'm running windows 7. Thanks

You have not properly described your problem. You should mention how exactly you are trying to plug your cables for an additional monitor? You still require connecting the monitor to the sound ports. You perhaps need a different cable for that. Otherwise you can also try to change the settings of monitor.
