Can nvidia 9400 gt is compatible with gigabyte g31 motherboard

Hi.friends. I like to play game on pc. But duo to lo internal graphics i wont play big games i.e. Which support pixel shader2.0 or higher.so i m thinking that buy chepest graphic card.so i go to nvidia 9400 gt.but doubt are occur that can this card support my mother board.my pc spesification are-
cor2duo 2.8gz procressor.
Gigabite g31 motherbord.
2 gb ram
320gb hdd.
Os is xp and7.please help me to buy a grapic card. If i sugesting graphic card is not sutaible, then please suggest me good gfxcard.please.

Yes.your motherboard should have a free PCI-E x16 slot.it is supported.

but 9400Gt is very low end card for latest games.if you are looking for cheap and minimum,at least go with Radeon HD 4650 for about Rs.3500.it is twice faster than 9400GT.

Yeah, i too agree with sam7s7. HD4650 is the best for your system but i guess it is about 2,500 INR. I bought it couple of months ago for the same price. Anyways, If you wanna go for any DirectX 11 card the 5750 is a good deal.
