First of all Hi everybody. Actually I am big fan of the fall out series But I still not able to believe that the new Vegas was launched at retail with the same error which I was facing in to the fallout 3. And this error comes when I use to fix the newer ATI card. It is really annoying I think in the next series of the fallout they will take care of this big nothing is happened like that. I am really disappointing regarding this. If anybody have solution of this then please help me.

Yes I am also very much disappointed regarding this. I the bug which came at the time of the Vsync and frame skipping it is really make me frustrate. When this game is launched I think that error will be get fixed in this but when I try to play this I facing the same issue which was in the last version of the fall out i.e. fall out 3. I do not know regarding this that how I can fix this but if anybody has solution of this then please help me.

So you just follow this I hope it will be going to help you because after trying this I anm not facing any kind of issue in this. So if you want then you can go for this.

1. First thing that FalloutPrefs.ini --> edit with notepad and look for the line "iFPSClamp=0"
2. When you got this then you just change to "iFPSClamp=60"
3. After doing this now you run that small savior application called D3DOverrider
4. Go to your Catalyst video driver and left the Vsync option 'Off, except the application specifies'
5. And now you run New Vegas and under the startup options LEAVE VSYNC CHECKED. Ok, this is weird and at start it didn't make sense but using that old try & error method I have discovered that it was the only way to work.
6. Play the game with silk smooth 60fps

I know only that much or you can say that only this solution to fix your issue. If anybody have solution which is better than this please post it here.

I do not know how the developers and testers should have released the game like this kind of error. It is really ruined my first impressions on the game. But I really like this game that why I have got the solution which is similar which is posted here. But here I want to ask only one thing that how can a million dollar piece of art like this arrive at retail with bugs like these? And regarding this I am very much sure that many of the gamers move to from consoles to PC. Finally it is kind of shame on to the pc gaming industry is now on this so called 'beta gaming age' where the most of the games which are released they urgently need the patches for it. So if anybody has like this type of error then you just try this hope it will going to fix your issue as like it did in my case.

I have also changed the files as you said and wow my fps has increased. And my system specifications are E8400 at the rate of 44000 MHz and 4GB DDR2. And I am not going to get more specification but I think it is the nice specifications which I have. In starting I was getting around 40 FPS but it really hurt my eyes also. But after trying this solution I am getting around 50 to 60 fps. And it is also constant there is no any fluctuation in this. And it is working smoothly. So if you want then you can try this.
