If you are having a proprietary Dell computer and want to use standard ATX power supply. you can just converter to the power supply and you will have a quiet dell setup.Pentium 4 dell model do not require power supply adapter. They are Optiplex GX 400, Dell dimension 4300,4700,8200,8300. pentium 4 dell model which are not compatible with your system are dell dimension 8100,3000.

You can try LOGISYS AD201 12v Molex to 12V 6Pin Adapter. This will convert 2 pin power supply connectors into single 6 pin PCI express connector. It will help you to power graphic card by using your existing power supply. I bought this for my Geforce GTS250 and it works fine. Works exactly designed, nicely. It does what i have expected.

I think you need something like this KDM HP-24MINI ATX Power Supply Cable Adapter Converter, 20Pin to Mini ATX 24Pin. it will support for HP,Dell and IBM. but i am not sure whether this is going to work or not. This one is 20 pin to 24 pin mini. I do not got any with 24pin to 24pin mini.If you wish you can try a power supply with 20+4 pin connector. So you can go for this one and try that it work with your system. Hope this will help to resolve your issue.

I tried this KDM HP-24MINI ATX Power Supply Cable Adapter Converter and it does not work. My 980 motherboard does not uses the same order for the wires. When I try to install this model with my motherboard I ended up breaking some of the pins. So please give the correct name of the adaptor compatible for me.

Having the same issue but yet the problem was not solved. My inbuilt PS is only 350W which will not able to handle two graphic card. So I need to have 450W power supply. For this I need to swap the PS but the problem is that new PS wont have mini power connector to motherboard. Even I do not have power o/p to support it.So does any one has any solution for me. Thank you in advance.
