Random blackouts for GeForce 9500 GT

I normally use the computer for playing the games. In my computer i am having a video card. I am facing a issue with my Video card. The problem which i face does not happens every time, but happens randomly and my monitor blacks out. My system does not stop, but it operate continuously and after some time it comes back on. The black screen last for approximately 5 to 6 sec. What is my problem about?

Even i faced the same problem with my video card. It started doing the same thing about 6 days ago and getting worse day by day. I have reloaded my driver for the video card and also reloaded the driver for the keyboard and the mouse, but not helping out. I am very much tired with this issue. So please provide me the proper solution. Thanks.

The same problem is even faced by me. I do not have the issue of lock up or freezing, but my issue is that my screen goes black for a few seconds. I am able to type and what ever i type is there when the screen content returns. I am not able to find out why i am facing this problem. So i need you help on this topic. Please help.

The same problem was even faced by me several months ago. I tried out number of solution for getting the problem solve, but nothing helped.After few days of try, one of my friend suggested me to change my cable. I was having a DVI cable. I changed my cable, from DVI to VGA and surprisingly my problem got solved. It is working fine till now. You to can try this thing.
