NVidia GeForce G310M Graphics Card vs. nVidia GeForce 8600 series

To be honest I am a game lover and I like to play games and for that I will require graphic card. I have done some research for finding the graphic card and I have finalized these NVidia GeForce G310M Graphics Card and nVidia GeForce 8600 series. But the thing is that I want to know the best graphic card from both of these graphic cards. I will be waiting for the related reply.

According to me nVidia GeForce 8600 series is the better one compared to NVidia GeForce G310M Graphics Card. First mid-range GPU DirectX 10 for NVIDIA GeForce 8600 derived from G84 will number two with the GT and the GTS model, so we will be entitled to the GeForce 8500 GT based it’s on chip G86 . For now, the operating frequency and the number of shader units are still not known whatever the model. However, we know that the GeForce 8600 GTS, the fastest model, wills the GPU operate at 675 MHz while the 256 MB of GDDR3 memory will run at 1000 MHz.

As far as I know the memory bus of the GeForce 8600 is interfaced to 128 bits. For its part, the model GeForce 8600 GT will be smaller with a frequency of 540 MHz for the graphics chip while the 128 or 256 MB of GDDR3 memory is clocked, as specified at 700 MHz. Very few details are currently available on the GeForce 8500 GT, simply know that it could operate with the DDR2 but also with GDDR3.

We learn that the PureVideo available on G84 and G86 of three video engines dedicated for accelerated MPEG2 HD and WMV HD up to 1080p. The decoding of H.264 is the program but curiously the VC -1 (format used by HD -DVD) is not mentioned in the documents, though that says WMV generally said VC -1. Physically, the cards are single slot, offering an SLI connector and only the GTS model exhibits an additional power connector.

The NVIDIA GeForce G310M is based on the GT218 chip and is manufactured in 40nm process. The chip supports DirectX up to version 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0. The graphics card has only one shader cluster, and 16 stream processors. Furthermore, the chip are 8 texture mapping units available. Processing power is very low. The shader clock, which is important for the calculation of 3D graphics, is at 1500 MHz, the memory clock at 800 MHz. The NVIDIA GeForce G310M has its own graphics memory of usually 512 MB.

NVIDIA GeForce G310M is often the entry-level attributed to. Although this video card built- chipset in performance often surpasses them is very limited to play. Therefore the main application is more in Office - and Internet sectors. Advantageous, however, is the relatively low power consumption. This battery is protected and in conjunction with a low-power processor, to long battery life possible.
