Try to buy Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 is an integrated video chip (integrated) into a Mobile Intel 965GM chipset. It is the successor to the Intel GMA 950. The most interesting is the integration of a pipeline completely programmable. Due to the integration of features Direct X9, HDR and Hardware Transform & Lighning (T & L) - his predecessor had only software T & L - should be ready for Windows Vista Premium (support Aero Glass fully). With respect to the data, the performance has to be clearly better than the GMA 950.

I have a Intel 965 Express Chipset, I tried counter strike 1.6, it works, but when somebody opens the bottle, it is the galley. Otherwise on Counter Strike Source, when I entered the game I lag for 10-20 seconds, and I'm kicked for high ping, but then more ca no lag, and I can safely play. I noticed that if this graphics card does not work very well, only when he managed many law model.

With the ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 is the successor to the X1300 . Sorry, this graphics card is not really faster than its predecessor. It has 4 pixel shaders and two vertex shader support and DirectX 9 Also the shader model 3.0 - is supported as its predecessor. So the ATi Radeon X2300 HD is the best go for it.

Re: Intel GMA X3100 vs. ATi Radeon X2300 HD

A major disadvantage is the lower 64-bit memory interface to the graphics card . This playful DDR3 memory resume its speed advantage and the bandwidth of memory is reduced to 8.8 GB / s. The chip is the ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 is clocked at 450 MHz. Thus, it should be assured that it is faster than most onboard chips. New is the support for Hyper Memory.

This technology ensures that is tapped when needed additional memory from the system, outsource textures. In addition, the ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 for the first time Windows Vista certified. Also on board again is the power - saving device PowerPlay 6.0. Thus the cycle and consequently the power consumption of the card will be regulated depending on usage .

These integrated graphics products allow a computer to be constructed without a separate graphics card, Which can lower overall costs and lower power consumption. They are commonly found in low-priced notebook and desktop computers. Trust Computer central memory for storage , which imposes a performance penalty as both CPU and GPU have to access the same memory surplus bus.
