Radeon HD3650 vs GeForce 8600 GT

I need a graphic card supports HDMI and protection management HDCP. Revisited Avivo HD technology delivers performance improved further in terms of decompression flow VC1 and H.264 , enabling you to play any HD movie in the best circumstances, and without overloading your CPU. Can anybody know that these feature is also include in GeForce 8600 GT ? Any idea. Please suggest. Which one is best ?

The rationale for the GeForce 9 would also be able to support PCI Express 2.0, but the fact that the manufacturer had to position themselves in an emergency to counter the Radeon HD 3800 promising prevented him from working consistency its range , leaving the GeForce 8800 GT , which could be found in the GeForce 9 . Despite that Nvidia has not really been able to counter these Radeon HD 3800 , mainly the 3850 version offered at a price much lower . If Nvidia has tried to position 256MB version of its GeForce 8800 GT in front of the Radeon, it was more of a front positioning.

There are a couple of weeks, as had done a first test of the GeForce 8600 GTS. Since this card is for the mid-range GeForce 8 family , we performed our measurements only 1280x1024 . Many of you have to ask for tests in 1680x1050 since our last test in December 2006 showed that maps of the same price were able to run games properly on our old panel in this resolution. Moreover , our survey shows that screens 45% of our readers are interested in TFT screens of 20 inches and 22 displaying a native resolution of 1680x1050. GeForce 8 600 GTS second round.

There is a copper base and for contact with the GPU , two heatpipes that dissipate the heat into the base and fins and a fan to 4 son for better control of speed ( PWM ) . At rest , the GPU is ~ 55 ° C. In charge , its temperature rises , approaching 80 ° C. In the case of our PNY GeForce 8600 GTS, she has never met. Good news also side noise on this model like that of EVGA , the fan never mounted system and the card is silent . Except when the GPU exceeds 75 ° C and the fan begins to be heard. Fortunately , this rarely happens with games . The detection of artifacts with ATI Tools cons done by the GPU up to 78 ° C and led to an acceleration of the fan .

Aboard the radeon HD 3470 PCB for it a standard size, with management interfaces VGA, DVI and S - video. It differs from the HD 3450 's higher frequencies , namely for its chipset 800Mhz and 950 MHz RV620 for its 256MB of DDR2 memory also interfaced with 64 bits . Although ATI recommends active cooling , it will not be long before fanless models appear . Their suggested retail price starts at $ 60.

The Radeon HD 3650 will be distinguished in two versions : an integration of DDR2 memory clocked at 500MHz , and the second offering of 800 MHz GDDR3 , both feature a 128-bit memory bus . Their RV635 GPU running at 725 Mhz or 75Mhz less than the current Radeon HD 2600 XT , its performance will therefore be equivalent to the GeForce 8600GT . The card will not need additional power connector since it consumes only 75 watts under full load . Its advertised price is below $ 100.

Re: Radeon HD3650 vs GeForce 8600 GT

The frequencies of the Radeon HD 3670 are 800MHz for the GPU and memory ( 800/700 cons for the Radeon HD 2600 XT GDDR3 800/1100 for the HD 2600 XT GDDR4 ) and those of the Radeon HD 3650 would be 600 MHz processor and 500 MHz for memory ( 600/400 cons on the Radeon HD 2600 Pro ) . The number of computing units , and ROPS texturing remains unchanged from the Radeon HD 2600: one can already deduce that the performance of RV635 will be barely above the RV630 , the value of these cards is rather in prices.
