Asus N53JQ-A1 - No Benchmark for the Nvidia 425M?

Friend last week I bought one laptop of Asus N53JQ for my office work. Its works very good have no complaints about this laptop yet. It works good Microsoft office and for other useful programmers like AutoCAD. But now I want to use my laptop for gaming also. But I am little bit confused that which Graphic card I should use for my laptop. I searched everywhere and found nothing. My configurations are: Asus N53JQ-A1 15.6" FHD/i7-740QM/NV GT 425M 1GB , GB DDR3 RAM . Which card would you will suggest me for it? I know it’s very preorder but there will be any option

I have the same pc but I use it for lower level game it suits them better. I do not have good knowledge about that which graphic card will suit your laptop. I found one graphic card which can suit your laptop on XoticPC website and it says that "DirectX 10 compatible will suit your configuration. I hope nVidia has not released another version of Directx 10 video card. Even we are in the Directx11 age…………….

Your model of Asus laptop is not the top of the line gaming laptop. It is just more than the multimedia line. Some new version of Asus laptop support gaming at very high resolution. For example, Asus G53Jw with 15.6” screen support high resolution gaming with nVIDIA G310M graphic card. You can try this card with your laptop. I hope it will support you laptop also but update your drivers also first. Without update it can create some kind of problem with your laptop

What I know about your nividia that it should support your Asus laptop because lots of peoples are using this card with their Asus laptop. The NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M is a quick mid-range laptop graphics card presented in 2010. And friend its performance is best. After looking on your configuration I see that it will surely support your laptop. It mostly based on the GF108 core and it is related to the Fermi architecture. And that’s why its support the Dircetx11 and OpenGL 4.0. The variation of the GT420M, GT425M and GT435M is only the core and memory speed.

If you are not finding the right choice for your laptop for gaming then should look for up gradation. Unlike you can upgrade the components of your computer; laptops have certain parts that cannot be replaced or upgraded. On most of these parts are like motherboard, graphic card or display. So peoples look for external Graphic card solution for laptops and called DIY ViDock that increase the GPU performance and it’s allow to user to add his performance Graphic card to their system.

Your graphic card GeForce GT 425M features a new structural design and therefore you can nnot compare it with older version Graphic card chips. The DDR3 graphics memory joint with the 128 Bit bus will be the bottleneck of the GT 425M. I test this graphic card on my Acer Aspire 5745PG and Gt420M performed just average like between GT330M and GT 335M. Therefore choice of GT 425 will be better choice and it will be little bit faster than GT 335 GT. Nvidia position the card against the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 56650

Hey friend I am also using this graphic card and it works very good. Its (GT 425M) gamming performance is also very sufficient for medium detail settings in nowadays games like Skyforce , Battelfield or NFS. Fewer demanding games must run in high feature settings. And you should always choose the best resolution is about 1360x768 because of limited performance.
