    Re: Realtek equalizer

Realtek equalizer corrected with the release of drivers R2. Realtek HDA returning function Equalizer (also called EQ or EQ) in the Realtek audio control panel. The graphic equalizer allows for information to the user to finely adjust the volume (from - 12 dB to +12 dB) to 10 bands ranging from 100 Hz (bass) to 16 kHz (treble). Users of Vista and Seven were satisfied so far presets (preset) for a particular sound environment, but it did not necessarily get the desired result.

Use the Control Center utilities that accompany the audio driver of your sound card or audio chipset. It is accessible via an icon next to the clock, the icon is named after the manufacturer (see screen - below - a separate sound card, Creative SB Audigy, if you have an audio chipset rather, it is likely that the name is RealTek). Once you have clicked on to access the equalizer options, you must activate the EQ (2): it only remains to choose the desired ambiance.

The management software is an equalizer, however, indicated in black and white in the technical specifications of different chipsets Realtek HDA. The manufacturer says that unfortunately this concerned only Windows XP. This failure is fortunately now corrected with the release of drivers R2.38 Realtek HDA returning function Equalizer (also called EQ or EQ) in the Realtek audio control panel.

    Re: Realtek equalizer

I think it's a shame when we have an integrated card have to invest in a sound card to play its old games , but it is true that to this day the only way to find DirectSound3D as before , the other card manufacturers since 2006 being on the spot to find a similar solution ( 3D Sound Back for chipsets and Realtek but quite buggy beta ). It is important to note that the DAC chip C - Media supports sampling rates of 48 , 96 and 192 KHz but not the 44.1 kHz . When reading a file at 44.1 KHz , or most MP3 and Co as well as CD Audio chip performs a resampling into 48 kHz on the output, which is not the case on the ALC880 chip .
