Why my Monitor is flashing fast when the system starts?

This problem recently started when I updated my video graphic drivers. When turn on my computer, then monitor, the screen is started blinking fast, just as human would. It doesn't stop until it gets all the way to the desktop and even then it takes a few to stop. Eventually it slows the blinking, and then completely stops. But latter when I turn off my monitor and leave the computer switch on, and then again turn on the monitor it starts working correct after a minute or two. I'm really not sure why it’s happening so. If any of knows how to clear this problem help me out.

I have assembled my computer system myself. The configuration of my system is
Monitor: LCD Samsung 19inch wide
CPU: Intel processor 2.4 GHz
RAM: Transcend 2gb
GRFX: Nvidia 6800 GT OC with latest drivers
Mobo: ASUS A8V 939 VIA K8T800 Pro ATX AMD
PSU: ATRIX PSCI-500BLK 500W ATX12V
HDD: SATA 200GB


I think the configuration doesn’t matter in this problem

As per the configuration of your computer system I think the configuration you are using for your personal use is perfect and the hardware accessories used by you is of good quality with the exclusion of the PSU but your trouble doesn't actually understand like a power issue.

Do you have all the latest Mobo drivers installed in your Desktop computer system?

I have already updated the latest BIOS as well as drivers for almost every part of my software. This just starting happening maybe like a week ago. It started happening right after I installed some new graphic card drivers. I notice it only starts blinking if I leave the monitor switch off for more than a one hour. It seems like somewhat has to humid up because it blink really quickly at first and starts slowing down, and then eventually stops.

here is what you can do:-
undo the OC.
then remove drivers.
restart machine.
reinstall drivers again.

It might not be of video card to cause that type of problem. The easy way to test would be you simply test the monitor on another PC. Such that you can check the problem facing by you on your computer system is proper or not. First you do this step and then check your system after turning on either it repeating the same.

You can't use purchase date as a guide to how long an item will last. Yes it should last longer than two years, but even in perfect conditions, lifespan vary. On top of that, you have to consider environment and power conditions both can GREATLY impact the lifespan of electronics. This might be your problem.
