CF 5770 vs Single GTX 460 1GB card

I have the knowledge regarding the computer engineering but having some confusion and need to take the suggestion from you all. Actually, I am going to build a computer system and I was just thinking that if I should purchase a 5770 now and purchase different one to crossfire the same with later or if I should move with the gtx 460 1GB and just overclock the same. My board does not move compatible with the SLI and I mostly would not be working with any SLI hacks.

Spend some extra and receive the X'fired 5830's. They will provide much more performance and beat the GTX460. The 460 on the same and it does not have more appeal, it is just the scalability of the SLI which makes it very good . If you have not decided to go for the SLI then definitely have 5770/5830 Xfire or maybe invest in a 5850 and leave yourself room to upgrade to Xfire later on?

5770 Xfire beats a 5850 but in case when you would get the appropriate money to receive different 5850 you will be laughing..

I never really have taken the 5830 into the consideration because on some different forum that I lurk around users continuously calling it the 5870s retarded little brother that does not seems very appealing. But if I can find one 5830 for the 180~200 then I might purchase the same and also if the 5850 does not seems so bad if I can pick up a used one for 200~250 which would be amazing for me .

I really wanted to suggest that you need to have a 5850 for now 2x 5770 will beat the same but it would provide you the area to Xfire later on and then your rig will be a little nuclear power plant

If you not having incentive to spend much more cost on dual 5850 then definitely have the dual 5830's. But as you sated about this , you need to get another hand 5850 for the similar cost as a new 5830. So just take two up second hand and you are fine to move..

I love to have the bat mobile . My friend states that it overclocks to the 5870 levels and he would support me for the overclock of the same and he also stated that there is something about flashing it with asus' bios although I don't know what the benefits of performing that is. Can't wait to have different one. But I was just considering to do and I have to get the similar model ? Or can I move for different brand such as ASUS, msi, or gigabyte? Newegg does not have the same, but I am pretty sure I could find it one ebay..
