XFX 5970 Black Edition not able to work under Windows 7

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7. The problem is with XFX 5970 Black Edition video card. When the system is been executed I get a black screen and the system gets freeze. I have no idea for the same. Please do help me out so that I can make the desired thing to be processed and work well. It will be better that you do help me out and provide a solution for the thing. Hope to get a better solution.

The problem could be that the driver is not functioning well and process as needed. It will be better for you to get the issue and function as needed. In order to function and process which will then function as needed. Do look out and process for the same. Type msconfig in the searchbox and hit enter. Now under selective startup tab choose Hide all Microsoft service and disable the service. It will be better for the same.

Install the application or driver under compatibility mode for Windows Xp. All you need to do is to right click on the application and then under the properties option choose compatibility mode which will be better for you then.
