    Samsung LA22A450C1 V/S LG 22LG30

I want to buy a LCD for my bedroom. Two 22 inch LCDs fit into my budget-one from Samsung-LA22A450C1 (Series 4) and second from LG-22LG30. Need your help in selecting between these two makes. LG costs approximately two thousand less than that of Samsung but surprisingly there are no details of 22LG30 displayed on LG website. Is there any website where I can compare these models? Also kindly opine on Videocon 21 inch and 26 inch Integra. Is their picture quality significantly inferior to that of first two? It will be better if anyone can provide me the details for Samsung LA22A450C1 V/S LG 22LG30. I will be waiting for your reply.

According to me you should go for Samsung LA22A450C1 because it is the clear winner in every aspect. Well I am not only talking about the technical aspects but also the functional aspects. The LCD TV is comprised with the AV input and that is used for connecting the DVD player and also for the DTH. HDMI socket is also provided for the High definition multimedia devices, I mean the gaming console or the blue ray player. I am suggesting this to you because I am having this Samsung LA22A450C1 and used it personally.

I having a query regarding the height at which I should wall-mount my 22inch LCD.I think wall-mounting LCD at three and a half feet from floor (ideal) is too low for getting it damaged as I will be placing it in throughway of my bedroom. I will be viewing LCD from distance of 10 feet. What will be maximum height at which I can wall mount my LCD without straining my eyes?

A distance of 10 feet is too big for 22" TV. Ideal screen size for this distance is 32". You surely need to strain your eyes if you want to see 22" screen from 10 feet away. As far as the height from floor is concerned, the thumb rule is to have it at the same height of your head (eye) if you assume your normal sitting position. All LCDs have viewing angle (vertical and horizontal). Color, brightness and contrast will look optimum only if you view them between this angle. Therefore the screen should be straight in front of your eye while watching.

You can book 26 inch Samsung LCD from Snehanjali just for 27 thousands and you will get the delivery in a day or two, and the thing about the viewing distance, it must be around eight feet only. If you are paying for something it is natural that you must get the best and Samsung LCD is the best if compared to LG 22LG30. I am not saying that you must buy Samsung only but you can make out the difference after checking the picture quality of both.

I am also having a similar problem I have decided to buy an LCD TV. I hesitate between three models LG 37LE2R, Samsung a 32-inch: LE-32R81B, Samsung a 32-inch: LE-32R73BD. What do you think is the best TV? What is the reliability of these brands? It is advisable to take an extension of guaranties? And the history of dead pixels is that true? Or it happens often? Sorry for all these questions but given the prices of these devices makes me a little scared.

Both brands are reliable. I have myself Samsung plasma last 1.5 years and it works perfectly (fingers crossed). LCD technology and slabs are now well mastered. The reliability goes hand in hand. As for dead pixels, all manufacturers will leave room for not having to change a single pixel defective slab. However, it is now rare to see this type of defect. Regarding the extended warranty, it can always be interesting for you never know but check what it includes. For my part, I have a small preference for the LG LCD

I am having a Samsung LCD LE40R73BD for 8 months and nothing to say works well and good image quality. It will be better to go for the tested product rather than testing the product after investing your hard earned money. If you compare the price there is only a difference of few thousands and I will not suggest you to go for cheap product.
