Anyone tested Nvidia GeForce GTX 465?

I have read the NEWS that after the GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 out late March, Nvidia released a third variation based on its architecture Fermi: the GeForce GTX 465. I just want to ask that anyone had tested the GTX 465.? I am curious to know about this card. If someone has tested please provide some information. Any other information about this card would be greatly appreciable.

In short, the GeForce GTX 465 is here and is positioned as a competitor of the Radeon HD 5850, at least in terms of pricing as it is announced by NVIDIA as the best DirectX 11 card under 300 dollars. In euros, the recommended retail price is 279 euros. It is indeed a smart Fermi GF100 castrated but since the number of stream processors goes to 352. The GTX 480 offers 480 and the GTX 470 448 for recall. The number of ROP units is also down to 32 against 40 and 48 for the GTX 470 and 480, respectively. The memory is also declining with 1GB of GDDR5 on a 256-bit bus 1280 MB cons for the GTX 470 (320 bus-bit) and 1536 MB for the GTX 480 (384 bus-bit).

A little over two months after the release of highly anticipated Fermi, Nvidia is back leaving a GeForce GTX 465. To recall, the range of Nvidia DirectX 11 compatible consisted until now of the GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470. We tested the GTX 480 to its output in this case income and were detailed on consumption and heat dissipation Fermi in that other folder. By cons, you have not yet been able to read test the GTX 470 in our columns, and yet it is not for lack of trying.

In fact, no manufacturer has deigned to lend us a GeForce GTX 470, so rather incomprehensible, let's face it. While the cards for the press are less likely than at other outlets graphics cards, we have never had so much trouble we get one. Yet we have numerous requests, including from Nvidia, but no so that our interlocutor might lead opposite had many cards. Yet we have been guilty only to watch in detail what all the testers have found: that the GTX 480 consumes and gets hot.

Anyway, we finally we get a GeForce GTX 470 ... thanks to a store, Compumsa whom we thank. As for the GTX 465, the test was also epic. Suffice to say that the test conditions were binding. Beyond telling our life tester in this introduction, we simply want to note the fact that the number of Fermi cards except the GTX 480, for launches is abnormally low.

Re: Anyone tested Nvidia GeForce GTX 465?

In terms of frequency, the GTX 465 retains the 607 MHz to 470 for the GTX GPUs, as well as the 1215 MHz frequency CUDA cores. The memory is clocked at 802 cons MHz while the GTX 470 offers 837 MHz at this level. Note that Nvidia does not have the reference design on this card and the versions with different cooling systems with higher frequencies should see very soon the day. What is it worth? Answer in our case comparing only DirectX 11 cards: 3 Radeon and GeForce 3 ...
