SDK 2.01 is not working with Catalyst 10.3

I want to know why SDK 2.01 is not working with Catalyst 10.3 on my Ubuntu operating system. Previously I was using Catalyst 10.2 on my Ubuntu operating system and that was working fine without any problem. But the problem started when I have upgraded the catalyst to 10.3. The only thing I am getting is the message that I need to be root when the X server is not running. After that again degraded to catalyst 10.2 and the system is working fine.

I have recently configured window on my IMAC 27 and after I have configured Catalyst 10.3 driver, after that I tried to install the ATI stream SDK 2.0. It is giving me the message that the display driver that is configured on the system is not having the openCL support for the AMD GPU’s. But according to me ATI HD 4850 must support the OpenCL. I have no idea why this is happening.

I am having the same problem, currently I am using ATI Radeon HD graphic of 4800 series. I am having catalyst 10.4 installed. But the thing is that when I am installed the ATI Stream SDK 2.01. I am getting error message that is something like this. The display driver installed on this system ID not has the openCL support for the AMD gpu’s. Can anybody solve this problem?

Just make sure that the drivers on your computer system are installed properly. One more thing you have not mentioned which operating system you are using. Try to run the CAL sample “FindNumDevices” for checking the device is working and detected properly on your system. Try to check these things and I am sure that you will be able to find the solution for your problem.

I seem to have the same problem, only my computer running 64-bit Windows 7 system. I also have the latest ATI catalyst drivers installed, and flow. clGetPlatformIDs return num_platforms only one platform, like FindNumDevices. You say the driver may not be installed correctly any Solution? I have tried to re-install the catalyst.

I think crossfire is not broken as it was in catalyst 9.10, it was just the crysis Warhead and the possible other games. I have tried that but it is not working. For example, when I was running Warhead with CF with the catalyst 10.3. I am getting very low 14 frames per second, and it stutter the whole time. I have also tried to uninstall catalyst 10.3 but it did not resolve the problem.

If you want to continue to imply that I was dishonest, that is your problem. The benchmark is what it is. CF card is disabled. In addition, make yourself a Ci7. According to me the speed of 4GHz 1 C2Q gave him in FC2's 70fps, later upgraded to Ci7, he got 110fps. I just think you do not know how important the CPU GPU efficiency.
