Ati Catalyst OpenGL 4.0

As we all know that ATI Catalyst OpenGL 4.0 is still in preview but I would like to know if anyone have read or know something about this? Do you have any news? When can we expect the final version of OpenGL 4.0? If you have any information then do share it.

I don't know when the final version would be releasing but I would like to state you is that ATI Catalyst 10.4 preview now comes with OpenGL 4.0 extensions. It comes with two new extensions based on OpenGL 4.0. The first one is GL_AMD_conservative_depth which allows you to modify the depth in the shader keeping early z-culling still operational. Another is GL_EXT_shader_subroutine which is similar to GL_ARB_shader_subroutine.

ATI Catalyst OpenGL 4.0 preview updates the AMD display driver and the Catalyst Control Center. This driver provides the highest level of power, performance, and reliability. The latest top-end graphics products such as the ATI Radeon HD 5900 and HD 5800 series are completely compatible with the OpenGL 4.0 standard including tessellation and integration with the OpenCL API, enabling GPU acceleration in future OpenGL applications.
