Mobility ATI radeon hd 5000 series linux drivers

I bought a computer, i have ATI radeon hd 5000 series card. Today I just wanted to watch the new ATI graphics cards on the market and there I saw nine new ATI graphics cards in the HD Series 5 ***. I am using Linux OS, So i want to know that is any Mobility ATI radeon hd 5000 series drivers is available for Linux operating system.Any idea ?Thank you in advance.

The manufacturer AMD / ATI has announced numerous enhancements to its Catalyst graphics drivers at the next Linux Edition version 8.41 which will be released probably next week simultaneously with Catalyst 7.9 drivers for Windows. Ati states indeed have realized the need to offer our customers using Linux, which are becoming more numerous, better drivers more efficient and more compatible with 3D applications and video games. AMD also announced that the collaboration with the open source community will be strengthened to provide quality drivers.

Drivers coming from 8.41 in September, the Radeon HD 2000 will finally be supported under Linux which is not too early. The Radeon older generations should, they benefit from a net increase performance up to 90% in some video games like Doom 3 and Quake 4. The site Phoronix has already tested these drivers with the chipset Radeon X800 (R400) and Radeon X1000 (R500) and indeed, the gains are excellent.
