Driver problem of AGP Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 4650

I recently bought an ATI Radeon HD 4650 for my old pc because he had (geforce 6150 integrated) girl was left to pull Windows 7, when tested with the latest drivers (version 10.3) was screen much more clear than usual but the brightness / gamma are in default and do not let me choose 1680x1050 which is the LG W2042S monitor resolution of 1440x900, 1600x1200 jumps and windows detects it as me not before the make and model but I now said to be a non pnp generic monitor. I'm connecting the monitor to the VGA output of the plate. I did a clean install and does the same thing, I tried to generate a driver for the monitor with PowerStrip and I served and anyway not going to solve the problem of brightness (and although it fits my hand never will look good entirely). Can someone help me in fixing this issue.

You should know that an integrated 6150 Aero has a hard time shooting at 1680x1050 but the monitor and the resolution is fully acknowledged. I would like to suggest you to try to install the latest drivers. I am sure that by installing an updated version of the driver, that problem should get fixed. Even that it not helping then try to reformat your PC and then install the latest driver. Because many times it happens that updated drivers doesn't get installed over existing one. So reinstalling the operating system will definitely solve the issue.
