Will I get 1080P on my 50" LG 50PQ10 Television?

I have recently bought this 50" LG 50PQ10 Television and I was told that it is having 1080p but I am getting the diverse result when I checked for the information online for verifying the information. Can anybody help me with this problem? I really do not want to lug this thing back to the store. My 360 says that it is running in 1080p.

If I am not wrong it is a 720p and not the good side. But it is shown in some the sites that it gives the picture quality better than 1080p. I you want to find out the pixels then just hook you computer up to it and then check for the maximum resolution 19x10 and if the maximum resolution you are getting is 13x7 then your TV is 720p.

As far as I know it is 720p, it will accept 1080p, and it will downscale. Probably display is 1080i but maximum users will agree on that 1080i is worse compared to 720p.

You must to do a research online before listing to anything someone at the store tells you. Most of the time, they do not know anything about the products. Some of the store do not have the refunding policy, if your store has the refunding policy then I will suggest you return it.

It is 720p and I am sure about it. I am saying this because it is mentioned on the LG’s official Specification says it 720p. If I was in your place than I will definitely take it back to the store for returning that piece, I would have also yelled on them for lying. I do not care whether the picture quality is good or not it is not 1080p.

It is similar to my TV. When I have bought it, they said that 1080P but when I bring this at home it was not able to 1080i. I felt ripped off, but I have got that at a very low price hence I thought it will better keep it. One more thing if I tried to return it back I will have to ship it back then I would have to pay more $100. I have bought that TV for $1000 and at that time all the LCD TV’s were at least $2500 to 3000.

If you have paid the price for 1080p then you must take it back, but if you have paid the price for 720p then you should not worry about it. The people those are saying that you are losing something according to me they have not seen the display of LG plasma. I am saying this because I have seen the display and it just simply outcast compared to other.

You should call the store and then demand they must provide you a new TV with discount. If they denies for that you can threaten them for taking legal action. According to me store manager is the person who is pansies most of the time. I am sure that they will crack under pressure. You must go the replacement for getting a better quality video.
