There is a possibility that you may have installed the card into the wrong PCI - e Slot. Hence it should be placed to the compatible slot. Do check out by changing the slot and making it connect to the appropriate slot. This will then help you well t get the GT 220 card to be detected and make the things to function accordingly. I hope this may sort the issue that you wanted to. |

It could be that the onboard graphic option may not be disabled. So in order to work out with the newly installed card you need to disable the onboard graphics from the BIOS. This will then enable you to work well with the same. So do check out for the thing and make possible implementation for the same. Do look out. |

You can make the things to work well for you. All you need to do is if your motherboard only has 1x PCI-E 16x slot then well, try updating the Video Cards BIOS. This will then make the new card to detect and there will no such issue of slow posting related t o the BIOS. So I do the needful changes and you may thus get to a proper solution then. I hope this works. |

I guess the drivers may not be responding well with the card. It could be that the hardware needs to be initialized well for the system. The PCI-E slot to which it is connected needs to be compatible. That is PCI-E 2.0 compliant cards must also support PCI-E 1.0A and 1.1 standards to pass certification. As it is been done the card may work well then. |
