GTX480 SLi with GTX295

Hi,
What are the possibilities of using a GTX480 SLi with GTX295 gpu support. I had bought a new card for this and the current one is really nice. I want to put both on SLi and use them at one time. This will offer me a much nicer performance in my system. I also want some drawback of the same and some really good points. Does these 2 cards works well.

You can make that work with Quad SLI GeForce GTX 480. But the performance here remain on low points. This you can say due to the driver and updates by Nvidia. Here there is a need for much newer updates and support. I had placed two cards HD 5870 and Radeon HD 5970 on cross fire support where I does not get a response which I was looking for.

I had tested the performance of a GTX 295 SLI face a Crossfire HD 4870 X2. I had found really nice output from that. In addition, the GC has been overclocked at 705/1250/1400 MHz for the GTX 295 and 832/1050MHz for the HD 4870 X2. GTX 295 offer excellent scores on SLi support where you does need to worry much. Just keep your system up to date.

If architecture Fermi of GF100 seems effective, especially in games DirectX 1. The fact remains GTX480 card heating beyond reason and the power consumption very important. Nvidia stated then that if the GTX480 is compatible with the 3-Way SLI is a water cooling (not pun intended) highly recommended to contain the temperature of the whole.

The HD5970 CrossFireX is quite disappointing, and a Triple CrossFireX of HD5870 is much cheaper than either performance or price level. For gaming it is not quiet hard to setup both and use them. I will recommend you to use the same on SLi and that too with the recent updates. Otherwise you can face certain issue while working with both the cards at one time.
