Computer freeze : Radeon HD 4670 1 Gb

Hello friends,

I am having computer system with Windows Vista 32 bit. Recently I bought Radeon HD 4670 1 GB graphics card. I did installation of it with 8.12 driver. When I run any game like Far cry 2 and GTA 4, but after loading of these the computer freezes. I am unable to find out the exact cause behind this freezing of computer graphics. If you have any suggestions over it, then try to share it me. I am waiting for your reply.

It seems that your system may have some hardware issue. Because of this hardware issue you are getting the freezing graphics issue while playing any games which requires higher graphics. I don't think that this can be solved with simple solution. So it's better for you to take help of computer hardware engineer. I think this is the safest way to resolve this issue.

I also had the identical problem with Radeon HD 4670. At that time my friend suggested me to replace this Radeon HD 4670 with Radeon HD 2900 graphics card. As the Radeon HD 2900 quite powerful as compare to the Radeon HD 4670. I did the same thing, the freezing problem of computer got solved. I think you also need to do the same thing.

As per my knowledge there are many factors which may cause this graphics freezing issue. One of then is your graphics card is not compatible to play the games which requires higher graphics. Or there may be other hardware problem with your computer. I think you also need to try other graphics card other than Radeon HD 4670, to see if you still getting same problem.
