Autofocus unable to stabilize at low light

    Hello,
I had my PENTAX K200D , Set PIn Flash Function (Flash) and the autofocus was set to "pump", ie to position itself at the proper focus, then switch to recover to find the right focus. When the flash (which did not instantaneous), autofocus mode "Spot" has the right to develop nearly 10 cm from the subject, which gave me a photo of the child taken wore a little fuzzy, but not satisfactory for me. so, can any one help me with. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
Do not know the device that you talk to us, but in any case everything you say is normal:
1 - the autofocus is sensitive in low light.
2 - Some cameras use these conditions a succession of flashes called AF-assist beam to facilitate the autofocus.
You clear that this function exists on the model you use. Refers to record yourself, it should simply not be activated by default (the name of the function can perhaps change depending on the brand).

Re: Autofocus unable to stabilize at low light

    Hello,
I do have a similar kind of a problem. There are in stock, but Pentax is no longer manufactured (the phone PENTAX source)

For a little explanation: objective Zoom TAMRON AF 18-200 mm F / 3,5-6,3 Di II LD Aspherical (IF] Macro (Phew).
For the EXIF of the photo:
    Flash Exposure: 1/125e
    Opening: 7.1
    Sensitivity: ISO 1600
    Focal length: 135 mm

Any advice on this. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
When your do that is set to AF do you had a choice between two areas of development, we must select the AF point (collimator) that you want knowing that it is larger than what you see in your viewfinder. We see that the bclairement Focus is on the forefront. Just give a try on this setting, if not then you can post your query and lets see what are your results.

Re: Autofocus unable to stabilize at low light

    Hello,
After some tinkering and editing of the record:
    I set the camera

    AF : AF.S
    Measure : Center-weighted
    Select pt AF : Focus
With its settings and / or under low light, it triggers several small bursts of flash.
But the result is still the same, so if you guys have any idea of the same then please do post back.
