upgrade 9300ge

Hi all,

I am in know way all that clued up when it comes to hardware. I was told I would need to upgrade my video card to run gta 4.
My computer currently has an Nvidia 9300ge which came with it, I dont know what kind of info you need to make an informed decision on what would be a good upgrade.
Is it just a matter of pulling the old card out and putting a new one in, or is there quite a lot more involved?

Sorry for my ignorance on the matter, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I should probably also mention that I do have a budget so price is a factor, my monitor is only 15" so that wont be much of a factor will it.

Upgrading the video card is just not the solution to make the game application that you need to work. You may need to upgrade the associated drivers that may need to make the device to perform or cope. Look out for the upgraded drivers for the same. It also depends on the type of operating system you use. You can get the latest drivers for all type of Nvidia cards out here.
