Cursor of my HP touchscreen is not working

Hi All,

I have been using the HP L5006tm touch screen monitor from two month. But before two days the Cursor of my HP touchscreen is not working. When I try to move finger on touch screen, the cursor remains at same position. I have tried this by restating my system, but it doesn't work.
Please give suggestions to overcome this cursor issue of HP touch screen monitor. I would appreciate your help.

I seems that you need to do the following process:

1. Open the Control Panel of your HP touchscreen.
2. Then open the HP Touch Screen Configuration option.
3. Then select the Troubleshooting option tab.
4. Then you will see the Calibrate button. And you need to double click this button.

I also have same cursor issue with HP touchscreen monitor. Initially when I start my computer, the cursor works finally and stops working after few minutes. And when I restart my computer it works well. I don't have any Idea about this strange behavior of my HP touchscreen. I have tried to adjust the configuration setting of touch screen but it didn't work. I need a proper solution to solve the cursor problem.

Hi,

When you start you system, over the desktop tap Scroll Lock key five times. That is when you press the scroll key five times it moves the your cursor to the upper left hand corner position. Then you need to hold on you finger on the location of the cursor. Then release your hand only when you hear deep beep. Then cursor will automatically move to the position of upper right hand corner.You need to repeat this steps for all the four corners. Because of these steps your touchscreen get recalibrated. Please try this.

• Check the configuration setting of the touch screen.
• Reinstall the operating system.
