    Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100 HDMI issues

I recently purchased a Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100 and hooked it all up using HDMI cables. I'm trying to find some respectable picture settings for the S4100 Series Sony LCD flat panel.I had one HDMI cable going to the cable box and 1 HDMI cable going through my Sony Home Theater System and everything was working great. Yesterday I turn on my TV and I have no picture\sound coming from any of my HDMI connections. So, can any one tell me that why i'm facing Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100 HDMI issues? What i need to do in order to resolve my issue? Any one knows about it? Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue. Thanks.

Can't you turn off the local dimming on this set? I would prefer the W4100 to the V4100. And I know you would prefer the Z4100 to the W4100. The Sony KDL-S4100 series was introduced in June 2008. It consists of the 40-inch KDL-40S4100, the 46-inch KDL-46S4100, and the 52-inch KDL-52S4100.

Sounds like something related to HDMI on the TV's mainboard broke. Try a hard reset just in case its just a software glitch. The 52S4100, however, does have a contrast ratio of 3,000:1. The series also has one less HDMI input and lacks 120Hz processing.

With the new HDTV I assumed I was going to be able to watch movies on demand at 1080i but i got denied :/ 480i. Sony's KDL-46S4100 is your affordable solution, and comes fully-loaded with 24p compatibility for smooth playback of filmed content, and a wide variety of HD inputs (3 HDMI, 2 Component inputs, and a PC input) so you can connect it to a Sony PlayStation, Blu-Ray Disc player, and up to four more HD-enabled devices.

The Sony KDL-46S4100 is a 1080p LCD high definition TV that could also double as a very large PC monitor. I bought the Samsung LN52A550. Upgraded to a bigger TV as well. I am very happy. The picture is much more better, and more uniform.
