Resize Display on External LCD
I have a Dell Studio 1557 laptop with 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 with Full HD 1920x1080 that I got recently.
I connected it with a 42" full HD LCD TV through an HDMI cable and displayed my desktop externally. Screen resolution was set to full on external display: 1920x1080.
My problem is the display on the 42" LCD doesn't reach the edges of the TV and is scaled to the center covering 80% of the display area. I wasn't able to resize the image to expand it for maximum screen utilization using the ATI Mobility software.
Does anyone know how to resize the image through this card so that I get a full 42" view?
I used to have an ASUS F6A laptop with WXGA (1280x 800) Intel GMA X4500HD and was easily able to resize the image on external display.
Can someone please help me do the same with my dell?!
Re: Resize Display on External LCD
Well I think you need to find an image scaling option somewhere, to put the picture for complete utilization of LCD. somehow its scaling the picture to center & you need to change the scaling to full panel.
