GeForce 2 MX 400 video driver issue on Windows 7

Recently i had installed Windows 7 on my system. After installing Windows 7 on my machine, i can not find my GeForce 2 MX 200/400 driver. I think Windows Vista provided support for this out of the box, but Windows 7 doesn't seem to have a driver for it. It just provides for a "Standard VGA Adapter", which limits me to minimum resolution and color depth. So, can any body tell me that how do i resolve GeForce 2 MX 400 video driver issue on Windows 7? Any idea about it? Please help me out to get rid of the above issue. Thanks.

This NVIDIA Geforce2 MX400 driver is WHQL certified, with support for the latest GeForce 7800 GS AGP card. NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 a robust GPU at mainstream price points. GeForce2 MX uniquely incorporates Digital Vibrance Control(DVC),which makes all images including 2D, 3D, and video brighter and crisper, even on digital flat panels, with the flexibility of the TwinView dual-display architecture.

I do not think that GPU is going to be supported as anything other than a standard VGA adapter. The driver is important because it fixes some application compatibility issues. Some other improvement from this updated driver are mostly for NVIDIA SLi based graphic cards, such as mixed vendor support for NVIDIA SLI, TV-Out/HD-out support for NVIDIA SLI, added support for VSync on Direct3D games when running NVIDIA SLI. The GPU is over 5 years old and assuming there is even a DirectX9 driver for it, it is most definitely not a WDDM driver

Install the drivers that came with the card, if not perhaps Nvidia.com has legacy Vista drivers. You could try opening "control panel" and clicking on "system". Then click on the tab marked "hardware" and then click on "device manager." Towards the top of the list should be an entry marked "display adapters" - click on the plus sign next to this and you should get an entry with the name of your graphics card.
