Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT freezes on Intel DG43NB Motherboard

Recently I brought 1GB nvidia geforce 9500 gt graphics card for my pc. Now the problem is that after installing my new nVidia Geforce 9500 GT graphics card my system gets freeze up. So, can any one tell me that why does my Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT freezes on Intel DG43NB motherboard? Does any body knows about it? I am having configuration of Samsung 22inch Full HD LCD Monitor , Intel E8400 Core2Duo 3 GHz Processor, Intel DG43NB Motherboard, 4GB DDR2 Ram, VIP 600 W SMPS, Creative Audigy Platinum 2 ZS Sound Card. Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue.

Checked your system for dust lately? Also he has checked to make sure that the fan on the graphics card is spinning so the card is not over heating. It could be as simple as overheating. The 'mainstream' graphics card is defined as a graphics card that does not require an external PCIe power connector.

It was possibly bad air flow causing your GPU to overheat or you may have just bumped something into the right position. Looks to me that you have a driver issue not a hardware issue. So if installing the drivers from nvidia doesn't work is probably quickest and easier to reinstall the operating system.

I had switched from Nvidia to ATI Radeon HD graphic card and its working properly. In that case, your PCI-E slot on your MoBo may have a problem. Try cleaning it out and then inserting the card. Also, check if your PSU is capable of supplying enough power. I think you should check the card on another machine.
