View Sonic VA 1962 gives "No Signal Input"

I have just upgraded from Intel Dual Core to AMD Phenom Black edition. I have also switch from Windows XP to Windows Vista. I have also recently installed a new NVidia Geforce 7000 grapahic card. And lastly also purchased a new View Sonic VA 1962 19 inch LCD Monitor. It was all goin good till five days ago, since then i am getting 'No Signal Input' message whenever I boot my deasktop. What is this problem?

Even I had a similar issue with my Viewsonic LCD monitor a year ago. This happenly mainly due to the Video Card been loosen. This is what I did. First remove the LCD cable from back of your LCD. Check whether the video card is loose or not. Remove the video card. Clean any dust or dirt that might be collected on it. Just gently fix it back in properly so that it is not at all loose. Plug the cable back and check that it is properly plugged in without any loose connection an then turn on your desktop.

Re: View Sonic VA 1962 gives "No Signal Input"

The reason can be your RAM(Random Access Memory). Firstly turn off your machine. You will have to open your computer's Cabinet. Take out the RAM from its slot. Clean the edges of RAM with a soft cloth. Might be there is some dust or RAM has got some Carbon on it. In anyways clean the RAM carefully. Fix it back in the slot from where you removed it. Close the side latch of the RAM slote properly so that the RAM is not loose. And power on your machine and so what is desplayed on your View Sonic.

Re: View Sonic VA 1962 gives "No Signal Input"

This might be the same reason that happened in my case. I had a Samsumg LCD. I added a new graphic card of Nvidia on my MSI motherboard as it had very low onboard graphics(64MB). But after three days I started recieveing a No signal error message and nothing would actually display on my LCD screen. Later on I realise that the new graphic card had gone bad. Might be this is why you are also having the same praoblem.
